Number 3 in the pic .

The small amount of debris you see on my finger only filled that stainless steel screen about 20% . That little bit wasn’t slowing any oil flow down enough to cause any problems . So don’t worry too much just clean it the next time you’re in there.

Thanks. Pretty sure, that extra little step you see at top of your shoe is from where the link pins are hitting. That to me is the wear gage for replacement for sure.

Obiviously, you have a TCb motor. Your shoes look like they got a lot of oil cavitation wear you see on the prop and lower of high reving outboards. You turn many RPM with your motor.

My shoes were pretty smooth since I drive like the old fellow I am. I made myself a promise years ago after my last metric I would never WOT my Harley and if I ever did, I would sale it.

I actually almost did getting the Jeep as a replacement but my college student borrowed Jeep a year ago. I didn't tell her but the bike drives better then the Jeep.

That’s the outside shoe . This is the inside shoe

also I’m 60 , so the wear you see might be from getting stuck in stopped traffic down at the shore . To the point that my pants start smoking !
