Default Remove Logo from Aluminum Tree?

76 FLH.
Sooooo my shop had a Big Dog tree laying around that they threw me for cheap. It fit perfect and had the same rake. Now I'm regretting it. Thought about covering it with a tool bag but didn't find anything I like. Wishing I would have just paid the $300 extra to get one that didn't say BIG DOG.

Any suggestions here? Any way to get rid of it or fill it in? Can I grind it? What disc would I use? Would it look like DOG crap?

Just cut a piece of aluminum foil tape and stick over it...90% of people will never notice...

You can grind it off and re-polish the aluminum and make it smooth. Take your time, go slowly only removing what you need to then start the smoothing process. I've removed brake perches from lower legs and you can't tell they were there. If it's clear epoxy coated, you'll need to remove the coating before you start. Aircraft stripper works best but be sure to protect everything else around it.

I'd find an emblem to glue over it, or just buy the one you want. Grinding it down would be my last option.

No matter how skilled you are...grinding that down would look like chit...if you are going that route, pull it off, and mill it down... then polish
