Just sayin..
LePera is dead honest. I can't imagine how anyone could expect a level of comfort with that product name.

I have a LePera thin seat for the FXR. It has lasted many years, still looks great. It is well built with a steel base. Comfort is subjective, regardless, LaPera is a quality product.

Got a Bare Bones on my RKS, don't understand all the hate towards it. I am 43 and have ridden that seat for 6 hours at a time minus the gas stops.

ttyndall, thanks for the comments. i love the way it changed look of my bike. the seat is firmer than i expected for having gel in it. the more time i spend on the bike the more i get used to the new seat. it's not a cross country seat by any means. but its a motorcycle not a caddy . the seat is plenty comfortable enough for the riding i do now. i just turned 50 last month. and im not interested in spending hour after hour on the bike. im more into shorter trips now. usually an hour out . if i buy another bike and it needs a seat i will be buying a another one. that's a nice looking bike you got there also what year is it?

i still have the original 2 up and sissy bar so if the wife ever decides she wants to go for a ride again, until then it will be a solo set up which i think looks a whole lot better

fatken, nice looking bike. haven't been much of the blacked out look, but i do like the gloss black over the flat black look. got to be good at painting to pull that off. flat hides a lot imperfections .

I have the LePera Silhouette on my FatBoy. It has a slight bit more padding than the Bare bones and a slightly larger profile. I think it looks great and for the riding I do, it's plenty comfy. But I wouldn't want to be on a cross-country trip with it. OP, your FB looks great with the new saddle!

I obsessed over seats last year, looking at different brands and models for different purposes. I finally settled on LePera and initially worked with them on a custom-designed Villain solo seat. I loved it so much, I went back and picked-up their Daytona 2-Up seat. as well. They also handled a recover on my chopped-oak backrest to match the Daytona seat.

The build quality and materials are fantastic (e.g. leathers, steel pan, riveted cover, etc.). Moreover, their ability and willingness to personally work with me on the designs was much appreciated. I've plans to go back to them again - really great people there.
