Motley Fool weighs in <- of course they have no positive outlook
Cool. Hopefully they will have hire new clothing designers, I need some differently styled forty dollar T shirts.

What I find intriguing about the the Indian Challenger is liquid cooled, 122 hp, 3 riding modes & electric windscreen. All things Harley does not have. I could care less about infotainment & gps. Someone posted a great video on one if these threads of a Road Glide guy test riding one. As much as he didn't wanna like it, really couldn't find much to complain about with the Challenger.

And y'all wonder how we got to where we are today? Of the above probably only the last 2 have any mechanical engineering knowledge or experience in how to design, develop, and produce anything. Woke manbun geeks/geekettes running a motorcycle company holy cow - in private they probably wish motorcycles would just go away because their emissions negatively impact the developing fetuses of fur seals. That bunch is deciding what will be marketed to you. Somebody hire a Witch of Endor to channel William S. Harley back to life and let's get this thing turned around.

Edited to add: So have I; it didn't get me nominated for Pope.
Speaking only for myself:

I generally do not wear tennis shoes.
Do not wear wear Levis.
Am anti-Bleeding Hearts groups, foundations, institutions or societies.
I don't do MTV.
Don't go to Chipotle
Definitely ain't into the whole Starbucks scene; can't even stand the taste of the coffee ... and I like coffee.
As a pilot, I think the way Boeing handled the software secret on their 737Max was criminal. They thought that their stupid computers with defective sensors were smarter than trained pilots who they (IMHO) killed by not disclosing important facts to them. How dare they!??!!!
I am a Cummins fan and while they are both machinery, I do not know how much diesel engines have to do with motorcycles. Cummins manufacturing designs and manufacturing QC seems head and heels above Harley's.

In short, I query how much these folks can relate to what we're into or truly benefit the brand.

Something I think is funny about the direction of motorcycle design is this right here. Adding a bunch of crap that works best (and safest) for when the bike is parked or not moving while ignoring the features that make the bike safer or more comfortable while it is moving doesn't make sense to me.

It's like in the sailing world, don't buy a yacht with minimal creature comforts for living when that's exactly what you'll be doing in it 98% of the time.

Sorry, but an electric wind screen and differing riding modes are always useful to have, the first is definitely something Harley needs to get off their *** and add. The rest of the electronics Harley already has and I think they charge far less for their RDRS than what Indian charges for the equivalent.

The numbers will of course be down for Q2 what with all of this virus stuff going on. Hopefully we do get some new promising details on the Rewire plan for the future.
