I really do not worry about it. I have a bagger and it auto locks.

When it is in my garage, it auto locks.

When I get off the bike around town, it auto locks.

When I get off the bike when I travel, it auto locks.

Only rarely if I am traveling and am in a bad area I will actually fork lock it.

If someone wants to pick it up with a wench, go for it…

To me, auto locking is a plenty good for me and my comfort level.

ignition lock, fork lock, passive security, and insurance. If someone really wants it they'll take it. If I'm around and someone tries to take it, I won't make it any easier.

Other than that what can you do? Thieves are on a level higher than liars that deserve a first class ticket to hell.

If one of my bikes is left outside it gets locked with a chain lock. And to make it a bit more difficult to cut the lock, my pop welded a shround on it many, many years ago.

I use the fork lock, and don't park in bad areas. At motels, I take what's important to me to my room, and I park by the front door.
