I put a set of Kuryakyn ERGO guards on my bike last April and the things are already spotting up and about to explode with rust. Looks like crap close up and of course I can notice it from a mile away. I love the integrated highway pegs but don't know if I can put up with the poor chrome plating quality. Any thoughts on haaving them re-chromed ($$$). I've got a few other pieces of thier chrome and they all look fine. A friend in New Orleans bought the same bars fro his Fatboy and is beginning to see the same.Anyone else have problems with Kury chrome?
Can't say that I've had any problems with Kuryakyn at all. I have a set of ISO grips, 3 sets of ISO pegs, 2 ISO shifter pegs and a couple of other goodies that all look as good today as they did 3 years ago. They seem like a standup company, try giving them a call and letting them know about the problem. Who knows, they may make it right.

Give them a call. I have been using their products for over ten years. I have never had a problem with their customer service. In fact they are one of the best as far as I'm concerned. More than willing to help and make me happy a few times.
My ISO grips end caps chipped badly. I told them about it at Destination Daytona during Bike week and he said here Ill give you another set. Without even seeing them!!! I asked if I could pay the diference and get Stilletto caps and he said no charge Ill warranty them like you already had the stillettos! Great company to do business with! Even if something does spot or chip they will make good on it. No company turns out 100% perfection 100% of the time, but if they will stand by anything not perfect that's all you can ask for!
Got a response from Kury. They told me to return them to the vendor who will handle the warrenty issues. Unfortunately, I bought them off of ebay and the seller (who will go unnamed) has a 90 day policy. I suppose that's one of the pitfalls of ebay.
Or if ya dont mind waiting wait until they are at a big rally with their tent. Like Biketoberfest, and tell them about it there. They will take care of it then.
