I recently installed a Hayden BT07 in my 2008 FLSTN. I dont ride this bike much, you know dont ride far bar to bar
anyway put a few miles on and decided to check things out.
Guess what the front part of that shoe broke off. Ive read here this has happened before, most posts say they wrote to hayden and got no reply.
I shot them an email and the next day tony answers back, needs more info, purchase date year of bike and such,
took some measurements, then we went over the installation process, not sure what happened but they are sending me a new shoe and springs. This a solid company that cares about thier customers, Kudos to Tony

In April of 2014 I put a BT107 in my 2013 Road Glide Ultra, this was at 1400 miles, at 5100 miles I got loud howling from the primary, I took a look at the shoe at it looked like yours, not broken but dark grooves with melted material on the shoe. I contacted Hayden after I found out the shoes on some of the early units had springs too long, not allowing any slack or motion in the chain. The sent me a new shoe and springs (corrected length), good customer service. No noise in three years.
