Default No more printed Parts & Accessory catalogs :(

Looks like the end of printed Parts & Accessory catalogs. Read about this the other day and was really disappointed to hear that.Too bad too because I use it a lot and sometimes just kind of browse through it for ideas. The General Merchandise catalog is still available in a printed format and also for download. The GM catalog is 500 MB so I can only imagine how big the P&A catalog will be. I'm hoping it will be in PDF format to make searching for a particular part easier.

P&A Catalog
The P&A Catalog will be available to download from H-Dnet on Aug. 25. There is no printed version of the P&A catalog. We’ll notify you when the catalog is available to download.

A sign of the times I’m afraid and the sign says, “Dead End”.

I remember the old days where the Sears Christmas catalog was anticipated almost as much as Santa himself. Our motorcycle parts and accessory catalogs are the adult equivalent. If I can get a PDF version I might be okay with it

I prefer the online catalog. There's just so much in the big book that doesn't pertain to my bikes.

That was my initial thought too. Not sure if it works out that way though because the dealer had to pay for those catalogs from HD and I'm sure there was a markup on the price of the print version and maybe shipping too. Even with the on-line version of the catalog, they (HD) still have the expenses of photographing the items, organizing the catalog and the people writing the descriptions and fitment of the items.
