What helped me , was changing to a bar that had less pull back . Some bars cause your wrist to bend while holding onto the grip . I've been using bars with a 6 3/4" pullback and have never had numb hands again .

Those fingerless gloves that have padded palms is what works for me. Been using them since the shovelhead days.
The more a bike vibrates the more my hands go numb.

Just to kind of re-mention the carpal tunnel issue, in my own case I tried Avon grips, gloves, different handlebars, and nothing really helped. Then I did the carpal tunnel test; ruh-roh. Got it fixed and rode the same day after the surgery my hand felt so good.
So to the OP, you may as well test yourself first; if you don't get a positive result, then try everything else.

Me, it was carpal tunnel surgery that fixed it

Just look on the bright side,

When your hands go numb you can close your eyes while jerking off and pretend someone else is doing it.

My right hand goes numb when riding due to medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) which restricts blood flow. The temperature of my right hand is actually noticeably colder than my left. Nothing I can do to completely eliminate it without surgery which I have avoided for 15 years.

I can minimize the numbing by rotating my wrist upward (as in decelerating). This improves blood circulation. I use cruise control most of time so I can change my grip and even drop my arm to my side every now and then to get improved circulation.

I also have some arthritis in my right hand which has been broken twice. It's hell to get old.

Installing Avon grips on my old Heritage was one if the best mods I did.

It seems for me the higher I get my hands the more problems I have. I went from 14" apes to 18" Carlini's and then went to beach bars. My hands very seldom get numb with the beach bars. Harley got it right in 1903.

I keep my elbows no lower than my hands. That helped me.
is it all your fingers or thumb and 2-3 adjacent? Carpal tunnel if its not all fingers.

Never ride with the “factory settings” I.e. handlebar locations, shifter peg location, brake pedal, controls. Adjust shifter for the size of your foot and what you wear, sneakers vs boots, that way you don’t miss gears. Angle handlebar controls to work with the angle of your arms/hands so you can reach them quick and easy. Adjust bars to get your back correct.

Adjust everything to fit you, just like getting into a car, you adjust seat and steering wheel.

I’m 6’ and the factory settings for everything is way off for me.
