I have decided what will be my next bike...
As some of you may know, I lost my last HD in a shop fire. I will get a new project bike and I have decided on a Heritage Deluxe. The following picture is my inspiration picture. I want to copy and make my bike like this. My question is ( as a starting point) what year bike should I look for? or not look for?

I think you may want to start with a heritage because they are more numerous and may can find one at a better price than a deluxe. Plus sell the saddlebags, sissybar, windshield, etc to help finance your project.
I owned a 2010 Deluxe for three months. Couldn't wait to get rid of it! Most uncomfortable bike I've ever owned. Get a Heritage, if you're over 5'7" don't get a Deluxe!
As far as the pic you posted?......imho, that's a bike you look at and polish, I prefer the ones that you can actually ride without worrying about getting them dirty, but to each his own. Good luck.
