Long Way Up -Ewan McGregor's rode trip on the Livewire
Yeah, I'll give it a watch to see if it holds interest. "Ride.with.Norman.Reedus" is a fun show to watch and this one looks like it will have better production and a more robust crew documenting their adventures. It will be interesting to see their conclusion on if it was actually a good idea to go with electrics as opposed to internal combustion. From the trailer, down below, looks like it presented some challenges on charging. I hope it's a good sh0ow and I also hope Harley gets a boost in interest from the series.
"Debuting on September 18, Long Way Up will drop its first three episodes on premiere day. After that, it will be followed by weekly episodes. The premise for this series finds Ewan and his best friend Charley Boorman—son of Excalibur and Zandoz director John Boorman—as they attempt a motorcycle road trip for the ages. Mixing travel and friendship isn’t new to these two longtime friends, but they haven’t set out on a motorbike trip like this in over a decade.Although it’s been ten years since their last cycle adventure around the world, the two BFFs are ready for one more epic journey. Ewan and Charley did something similar once before, as they rode their way across Europe and North America for the BBC series Long Way Back back in 2004-2005. Think of this as the long awaited sequel. More than just another cross-continent road trip, this series documents their most challenging expedition to date, as the two cover 13,000 miles over 100 days. They start in from Ushuaia, Argentina at the tip of South America, and ride all the way up to L.A.
In an effort to contribute to the sustainability of the planet, Ewan and Charley travel on prototype, electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire motorcycles. Using the latest in cutting-edge technology while making this journey, they travel through 16 border crossings and 13 countries along with their longtime collaborators, directors David Alexanian and Russ Malkin. The directors follow in the first two electric Rivian trucks ever made.
If you’re ready to take this trip with them, the series debuts on Friday, September 18."
Long Way Around and Long Way Down were both good, so I can see this one being good too. Using an electric vehicle with limitations to range adds technical issues and it will be interesting to see the different ways they overcome it.
They overcame the limitations to range by each one having two bikes. While each was riding one the other was in a truck with a generator recharging them. In my book that is cheating,

Yeah, I have to agree with that. It also numbs me a bit about watching this even though I loved their first two series.
The first two where interesting, so I will watch this also.. (even if for nothing other than the Hat Trick)... what is funny is that when they did The Long Way Around, they rode within just a few miles of where i live... I recognized the road... they take a lot of support with them when they travel... but then, so do I... my HD Credit Card, My extended HOG towing package... and Harley Davidson Forums... in which "The Journeys Crew" has supported me more than once when I was out and about on the Road... and had issues.
I've seen media for this but was disappointed that it's on Apple tv, whatever that is.
Is it available for streaming anywhere else?
Guess I'll catch it on Netflix in 6 months otherwise.
Should be good.

Well, its not a competition with set rules or anything.
