Default Should I buy

Hi, I've got a deposit on a new 30th anniversary Fatboy. I was originally not looking to buy a fatboy but either a break out or a low rider s. Have I made a mistake or should I go ahead and buy?

I think you need to tell us more. First ever bike, first Harley, what kind of riding do you do, plan? How many miles do you do a year? Fat tires need changing more frequently so think about the expense

I vote NO.

If you're unsure, hold on to your money. THere's always another (possibly better) deal down the road.

I remember standing in the show room and looking at the first Fat Boy and thinking how ugly those yellow rocker cover gaskets looked!

My regret in regards to H-D;s is NOT purchasing the '71 Super-Glide.....but I did buy a new one 5 years later!

If you had to come here and ask - No, you should not buy it.

When you buy a bike you should be thrilled and can't wait to post up pics of your new bike.

Don't understand the last two poll choices. Are you thinking you can buy the bike, then resell it for a profit because it's an Anniversary model?

If so you're barking up the wrong tree; Harley has produced far too many Anniversary models to ever make them collectible.

If you like it, buy it and ride it, if not then buy something you do like.

Being a drive by, buy all three. Don't leave anything here for the vultures.

To answer some of your questions,
this isn't my first bike but is my first harley. Its not that I don't like it the issue is that I like so many lol.
The bike is limited to only 2500 world wide and only about 30 ish in the UK so thats why I was wondering if it could be worth selling. Hope this helps.

I agree with this. I wouldn't get hung up on it being a anniversary bike. IMHO you would be better with a Heritage or a deluxe over the Fat Boy.
