Default Grasshopper Backrests

Anybody try one? Seem to have good reviews except for the occasional complaint about them moving/flexing back and forth.

I have on my 07 FLSTN and really like it. Before installing I would get a sore back during long rides but haven't a problem since. It is somewhat flexible but I think that is a benefit.

I’m one of the ones who complained about the backrest support bending.

Looks interesting. A spring broke on my HD backrest and it tends to flop. I really like/need the back rest for the support. This may be something I can replace the HD one with. Does this move forward and back....that is does it "tilt"?

I bought mine 2 years ago, for under $100. Well worth the money. Install was easy. It takes some doing to get it adjusted, but once you do, it is golden. Shipping was fast also, ordered on a Tuesday and had it installed by the weekend. Check my signature pic, that is the grassshopper.

I don't think so, click on the link In my OP. Thinking of getting one. Price is right, especially at 20% off. Just the feedback about flexing/bending when you lean against it is giving me pause.

They do the job! I have one that I would be willing to part with! I picked up a new C&C seat and backrest so I would be willing to let you have it for $60.00.
