"compositor" ?? i think you mean compensator. 2019 and it broke?

I've been on this forum for a long time, learned a lot of terms and names for parts. what is a compositor, did the the OP mean compensator? What springs will break to cause a chain (primary?) to go out of alignment and cause the starter not to dis-engage. I'm ready to learn something new here.

...sounds like the "compositor" is in these newer fuel pumps? Can the fuel pump sump? If the fuel pump is sumping, is there a revision for it? Does S & S or Fueling make a non-sumping fuel pump?
