Three things will always rule -
Skulls, Flames and Metal Flake paint jobs.

Having been a "Junk Car Junklie" for a significant portion of my younger years, most of rides earned their name ... Some aren't suitable for print :>)

Like the skull’s. Live to Ride stuff is boring and for amateurs. However I have neither on my bike. Got some skull T shirts.

I have no control over what people call me. If you tell them to stop they'll just do it for spite.

The best thing about skulls and live to ride ornaments is the way they prevent orange peel and runs in the paint.

I use a pump up fly sprayer from 1953. Back then you could buy DDT and a pump up sprayer at the Rexall drugstore.

This method layed down a thick paintjob that took two weeks to dry. Runs and sags in the paint were part of the charm. When a paintjob like I lay down starts to peel it takes Chinese chrome with it. I sell this look as "patina".

Road names goes back to the return home of WWII veterans. Nick names was just part of the trip that they brought with them. My dad was in this group. I had a house full of "uncles" and didn't know a single legal name. When the cops came looking for someone it was always by legal name. If nobody knew your real name ya didn't have to be worried about getting fingered by a rat.

Here is another fun fact, everyone that I ever met has a road name. They don't know it and they don't get a vote or veto in the matter. Most of the names that I call them are not flattering. Here's the thing...I can be talking to someone and refer to someone else by my road name for them and the guy that I'm talking to will instantly know who I'm talking about.
Like if I call someone "dick breath" the guy I'm talking to knows who I'm talking about. Crazy but that's how us bikers operate.

Well, that's enough for now.
I know everybody has already looked on Amazon for pump up fly sprayers.

Wow. Nothing screams CUSTOM more than something hanging the wall at the Harley Dealership. Next thing you know blankets on handlebars won't be cool, or my all time favorite Doo Rags.
So many Bikes, so few Bikers.

All though I do not have any of the Skull collection on my bike, I've always loved Skull things/products. Have a lot of skull ink...

We call that guy Richard Halitosis in front of his mother, out of respect.
