you’re selling dealer didn’t do the necessary paperwork to transfer the title with a lien to you and the lender. Go back to them and speak with the general manager and see if they can help.

The trouble with mine was the Commonwealth of PA requires an "Original" Death Certificate to do a Title transfer from an estate. The Dealership had the "Original" Title and all transfer paperwork signed and notarized showing Eagle Mark as Lienholder. I provided copies of that paperwork plus the Insurance policy showing Eaglemark as beneficiary, etc. I maybe two weeks ago received an "Original" Death Certificate and the paperwork was finally sent forward. My T plate was long expired but the Dealership told me not to worry about it, and I didn't! It will be a week or two before I get the permanent registration because I am very rural and the Dealership does not have high speed internet which is needed to do instant registrations.
Honestly the Dealership was never worried about those letters from HDFS. They never responded to one. I also got the same letters as they did but did respond many times and provide proof.

this is 100% on the dealer, you need to stop in the dealership, and be polite, but firm, that this is their issue, and if need be, bring up getting your lawyer involved...
