I also have Cobras and played around with the firecrackers after I fully auto tuned. In the end it was an annoying leak in the muffler joint.
fixed that and now no need for firecrackers
Thanks for the comments . So go back in under edit / Decel Pop and turn off the one Firecracker I have flashed and run as many autotunes as needed to fill most of the squares with green , and that may fix any decel popping ? Thanks
yes, and be aware that when in Autotune, the bike will feel kind of sluggish. This is normal, as Autotune bypasses some sensors. Once you accept the Autotune values, the bike will run cleaner.
Took everyones advice and did a autotune session today rode about one hour and maybe only fill about 20% of the cells with green . I have several question , will you ever fill the whole table with green blocks even after 2-3 tanks of gas ? I only applied the session , if I do another autotune will the table show the blocks that are green where I left off ? Reason being I turned on the autotune again and I had a completely blank grid like when I first started .
A good tune session will give you a green slant from the upper left to the lower right. The green boxes will be surrounded by yellow boxes, which indicate partial info. Really, it kind of looks like a blob.
At the end of the run, you can apply and flash, or turn off the auto tune, and pick it back up next time you turn it on, or you can just keep it in Autotune mode until you get a good tune, then apply and finish.
Because you “applied” the tune is saved. Starting the Autotune again, will not erase the values, you just won’t see them. Green and yellow indicates learning, once applied they are learned. At the end of a couple of tanks hit “finish”
All you need is one good long auto tune session. Ride at various speeds, various throttle positions, various gears. Two or three tanks should do it and then flash. Keep the firecrackers as a last resort. That's what worked for me...

The reason for doing at least three auto tune sessions according to V&H is the device can only change the tune a certain percentage each session. That was the direction a got from them when I had one. I Moved to a power vision after a few months with Fuelpak.
That is interesting. I would definitely follow what V&H suggests. For me (Stage 3 96 to 103, V&H pipes, K&N filter), it only took one auto tune and it runs great. Maybe I should try another autotune session and see what happens...
