What do you think ?
Putting a baby on a bike is insane.Pretty sure I won't ride my kids on back til they're 16 if then. Kids can't understand the risks involved (teens on cell phones, drunks, deer, etc.) or the forces involved in a crash. They've got their whole lives ahead of them ride if they choose.

I'm not on your case it's your choice to raise your kids how you see fit. but my kids have been riding with me eversince they could touch the pegs and my dauther loves riding with me and have had some of the best times just me and her out riding. and she has learned to respect the whole deal of it (must wear pants, boots ect) and she knows that. to me it's kind oflike firearms if you don't show them the proper way then most likly they'll do the wrong thing. like it or not we can't always be there to stop stupid mistakes
lol .. I'm sure some folks on here will say it's just fine!
Yeah they would"
I had my two daughter's on my motorcycles from
3 days old till they got their own motorcycles!
My wife rode on back with me all 9 months of
both pregnancy's!
None of this is something that can be understood by
wanna be bikers/motorcyclests playing Mr. Dress Up
on weekends" [:'(][&o]
This woman can do what ever she pleases with her
kids, they are her kids and if her life is to be a full
time hard core biker/motorcyclest, I for one I'm very
happy for her!

Big brother can kiss my azz along with anyone else
who thinks they can tellme how to runmy family
or my personal life! [:@]
Rant Off .. ( for now")
Wanna-be-bikers? come on with that garbage! What do you think you're hardcore because you put a baby on your bike? That isn't cool, man, that is plain stupid. You got lucky if they didn't get hurt - just lucky.
Real men understand that they are role models for their children. Real men understand the preciousness of life. "Wanna-be's" hide behind the rebel-biker image because they just can't face up to responsibilities.
Rant off.

I feel fairly comfortable seeing kids well under 16 on the back of bikes, as long as the rider is not a beginner. My sonhas been riding on the back of mine since he was old enough to reach the pegs, flat footed. My son will be riding his own bike at 16. The more exposure he has as a passenger, the better.
Was riding the other day and passed a woman on a sportster with a baby stapped to the back of the bike in a car seat .

All my Doctor and Lawyer friends and customers
that play Mr. Dress Up on weekends riding a few
miles on their motorcycles would disagree with you.
They face their responsiblities daily, they work hard
and raise their families to the best of their abilitys.
They also would not agree with babies on motorcycles
just like all the other wanna be's playingMr. Dress Up
on weekends. They likeplaying Mr. Dress Up on
weekends pretending to be bikers/motorcyclests, that
is their release from the pressures of the responsibilties
of their every day lives. I don't think people that like
playing Mr. Dress Up wanna be bikers/motorcyclests on
weekends will appreciate yousaying they are not able
to face up to their responsibilities!
Ihave rode 40,000 to 100,000 miles a year for over 40
years now. I ride every single day no matter what the
weather is andout of all the people I meet on motorcycles
90% of them now days are wanna be Mr. Dress Up's
playing biker/motorcyclest on weekends. I'm hear to tell
you most all of them are very nice people and take their
day to day responsibiblities very seriously!
Which means you probably owe alot of people on this
forum anapology for saying their dodging their
responsibilities just because they like motorcycles in
their life and don't have the time or wantfor living the
lifestyle like bikers/motorcyclests do 24/7 365!
First of all, I could never put one of my little ones on a bike and haul down the road....just not for me.....BUT.....what is funny to me is, alot of you that are on here dictating what this mother should and should not do, are the SAME ONES that say that hand-holding laws are BS....aren't you doing the same thing here that our government does with helmet laws, seat belts, etc.???
Most of the replies here were merely commenting on the morality of her actions.A couple people went a step further and explained HOW they arrived at their conclusion. That's all.

Jeez, never mind a wreck...what if she simply drops the bike?..a car seat isn't gonna do jack for the child's head if it hits the ground [:@]
In this state I don't think we have a "peg" law, but no one can ride without a helmet and some sort of face protection.Helmet and reckless child endangerment laws, come to mind quickly.
Unfortuantely CPS in THIS state would take the kid, conduct a half A$$ investigation and then give the kid back. They do it all the time to abusive parents, which is why we have so many dead kids lately around here.
I'm sure glad she wasn't MY mother... Poor kid.

Well you obviously misinterpreted what I was saying. I am saying that guys like you are "wanna-be" men, not "wanna-be" bikers.
