You can try renting one from a dealer before you buy. We did this before we bought the 06 FLHTCI

Hey Mac, Ive pretty much decided to re-enlist. I leave tomarrow for Iraq, Ill re-enlist over there for the Iraq incentive, which is $15,000 grand on top of my re-enlistment bonus. Ive thought pretty long and hard about it and money is not everything. I dont think I could find a civillian job that I like as much as the ARMY. Ill take my time going through school, Ive changed my degree plan to History. That I can do entirely online. and after I retire Id like to go through MMI. That way when the time comes I could either be a teacher or a HD Mechanic.

Anyhow thats the plan for now.

thanks everyone for the advice. Im set on the Road King classic. Im gonna look at AAFES has to offer over there. When I was in Korea 01-02 there selection on bikes was slim pickins.
BM,

for God's sake, please be careful over there!! I've been over there twice, and know I'll be going again eventually........trying to get to retirement!!![&o]

When I was over there, I had the chance to get an FLT standard for 15K and didn't do it,...I regret that now!

If you put your money down early...you'll be able to keep going back and checking up on what they've got...you'll be able to get exactly what you want...at least I could...and I think you only have to put down a couple hundred...
