All the locals know to stay off the strip as much as possible, there is no reason to be on it more than a block or so to get wherever you are going.
From the Raddison downtown, you can take Branson Landing Blvd. North to Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Between it, Roark Valley Road, or Gretna you can get to about anywhere E-W along the strip and North side of it. Fall Creek Road, Green Mtn. Dr., and Frank Rea Blvd. connecting the two, will get you about anywhere E-W on the South side of the strip. FWIW
