A 47-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle accident, on Sunday, when the motorcycle she was passenger on crossed the double-yellow line on a curve and crashed with another motorcycle head-on, according to California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred when a 43-year-old man driving a 1993 Suzuki Silver, tried to pass slower moving vehicles on Altamont Pass Road, according to a spokesperson for California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Suzuki struck a 53-year-old man driving a 1999 Harley Davidson, also occupied by the female passenger who was killed in the accident. The driver of the bike was transported to Eden Medical Center, according to CHP.
Officials are still investigating the accident. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Dublin California Highway Patrol Office.

[/align]All lanes have been reopened on Altamont Pass Road in unincorporated Alameda County following a fatal head-on collision this afternoon, California Highway Patrol Officer Steve Creel said. [/align]According to Creel, 43-year-old Joe Silver Sr., of Tracy, was riding a 1993 Suzuki motorcycle at about 1:15 p.m. eastbound on Altamont Pass Road about two miles west of Grant Line Road.
Witnesses said Silver illegally switch lanes to pass another vehicle, according to Creel.
As Silver transferred to the left lane, he collided head-on with a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle heading westbound, Creel said.
Silver was thrown from his bike and sustained moderate injuries, according to Creel.
A 47-year-old female passenger was ejected from the Harley and thrown to the right hand shoulder of the roadway, Creel said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
Creel said the 53-year-old male rider of the Harley was also ejected and suffered multiple broken bones throughout his lower body. A helicopter brought the victim to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, according to Creel.
Both victims on the Harley were Fremont residents, Creel said.
Creel said there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were a factor in this crash.

The Alameda County coroner's office this morning identified the victim of a fatal Sunday afternoon, head-on motorcycle collision as Ronda Anaya.
Anaya, 47, of Fremont, was thrown from a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle at 1:15 p.m., following a collision with another motorcyclist on Altamont Pass Road in unincorporated Alameda County.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
