I want to do a 95" on my carberated TC 88 this winter and am getting confused by all the different ones available. Should I go with HD stuff or some other? I will probably send the heads to some one for work. I want low end horse power, not high speed.

Hemi Designs (I think) makes one that claims high HP and torque. They have an add in the back of this month's American Iron magazine.I lent my copy to a friendbut I'm sure someone here has one.
So I guess your 103" idea is over and you've settled on a 95"set-up. Good choice without having to spend big money.
To answer your question, there's plenty of good kits out there. Just bumping the displacement to 95" is a matter of boring the cylinders to match the larger pistons. It's the head porting and cams that will make the difference. Some riders I've spoken to have had great results with S&S 510 cams without any headwork. If you port the heads for better flow go with S&S 570 or Andrews 26.
There are also preconfigured kits from companies like S&S and Edelbrock that give you everything in one kit including replacement heads.
BTW.. There's an AHDRA event in Bristol, TN this weekend. There will be plenty of top engine builders there and I'm sure you could get some good info.
Yeah, I got some good advice from you more knowlegable people and settled on 95"
Where is a good place to purchase one of these kits and how much should I expect to pay?

Just do a lot of research and match the parts up togethor. Dont just buy a bunch of peices and throw them togethor. The grind of the cam, the compression of the pistons, thickness and material of the gaskets, and head porting approach, all come into play togethor. Do your homework.
Bartman, I am doing home work. But all I see are ads. It's confusing and what to believe? I' read American Iron and it's helpful but that leads to more questions. I ask the Harley techs and all they know is HD. Why else would I ask you guys? The brain trust.
