Default Frontend Oil? Splatter

I’m a noob so bear with me. Had spotting on the garage floor and upon further inspection looks like I have some kind of leak maybe coming from front wheel area.
I can’t see anything obviously dripping looking for ideas on where to start. Pics below show color and wear it’s showing up after a quick ride.

Splatter on front fork cross bar

On fender

Front fender lip

This is the color, looks and same consistency of vegetable oil😂

Thanks for your ideas!

May want to post year, make and model of the bike. Above post ^^ and

Neck bearing comes to mind when its hot out grease can drip and get everywhere (my experience, others may differ)

Hopefully not brake fluid and a leaky caliper or line on front end. Worth a look.

Show us photos of the fork seals and drain screws, the brake caliper(s), and the bottom of the triple tree. As well as provide yr/model info.

You would be surprised where oil can travel when driven by wind. I found oil on the back of my engine cases between the engine and transmission. I was convinced I had a leak at the case seam. It turned out to be the right fork seal leaking.

Clutch side fork tube looks like it has oil on it, probably the fork seal on that side. If leaking replace both sides and ride on.

I was worried I had a destroyed paint job and windshield on a big run once. I was covered in a mist on the freeway from a bike somewhere in front. I thought it was brake fluid. Turned out to be an exploded soda in the guys bag.

First pic is clutch side fork, I’m thinking that’s the problem

Yeah it looks like it's just run down the leg from there. Rust and corrosion too. Stored outside before you got her?
