Default Value of a dropped bike

Heya folks, maybe someone can point me in the right direction, got a 2012 Softail slim with around 8k miles. Bought for my wife, it was laid down going around 40ish mph. She's lost interest in riding and I want to sell it. All the damage are scruff mark's. I'm replacing everything except the gas tank which has a marble sized dent in it.
. I have no idea how much to decrease in the price due to the drop and tank dent
Thanks in advance

What's the title status? If its a Salvage or Reconstructed the value drops to about half of whatever a clear titled bike of the same year would be.

As stated above if its a salvage title it will have to have a very low price to sell it. If it still has a normal title I'd fix the gas tank since you've fixed everything else.

if you restore it and get it pretty much up to snuff, i'd check out typical market value and then deduct for the cost of a new tank

Clear title, all the "damage" was scruff mark's on the bottom slip-on pipe, Derby cover. The dent in the tank was actually from the previous owner. It's marble sized.

If you bought it with a dent in the tank and your replacing all the damaged parts, not sure how long you have had it, but I would price it for what your paid for it.

rk classic.

Decrease it the price of a new tank. Or just price it for what you've got in it and field offers. Leastways that's what I'd do.

OP, ask your local Painless Dent Removal team to look at it, they did wonders to one of our cars. They should be able to fix it for far less than the cost of a new tank and paint.

^ That PDR is amazing stuff; car of mine got hailed on and they took several hundred dents out of it and you couldn't even tell it had been repaired

Anyone want to share what the paintless dent removal cost them? I have a new truck with 2 pea sized dents right above the drivers door handle where I bumped my door into another guys mirror at work. Those dents are tiny but they drive me nuts every time I walk up to my truck.
