I'm fortunate to live where nonethanol premium is available, because its used for boats. I only buy E10 when I cant find nonethanol. I never store my bike with E10.
E10 is the norm where I live. I try to use ethanol free premium when I can find it, a local station carries it. E85 is also available, not the same as E15, but I dont know anyone that uses it, I wouldnt. I believe Harley Davidson requires fuel with no more than 10% ethanol per the owners manual.
As mentioned earlier, fuel mileage decreases and emissions increase with E15 and only a few stations will even sell it. I doubt our demented potus understands any of it. It is strictly a political move.
Itll save you 10 cents a gallon. Lmao 🤣
Be sure to let us know what you get for mpg compared to your regularly purchased fuel. Lots of E15 in Iowa, never used it.
No joke there get less than 90% of the efficiency of gas, and yet you will pay the full per gallon tax rate . Think about that simple math for a bit. And that barely scratches the surface .
you didn't really reference this outfit did you? Its based in Florida, consists of 3 people, and has no basis or testing to back up its claims. You need to learn how to spot BS.
My understanding that the main problems with corn gas are caused by not riding/driving enough.
The ethanol gums up and can ruin a lot of **** in your fuel system.
My pressure washer even has a warning advising use of a fuel additive if using ethanol gas.
Kwik-trip gas stations around southeast Wisconsin have had E15 available for at least two years, they sell it as their mid-grade gas. I normally use mid-grade in my trucks so stopped going to those gas stations 2 years ago. Check the labels on the pump before you fill up.
