When E10 was introduced, my Road Glide went from 49-50 MPG to 44-45 MPG, 10% ethanol = 10% less fuel mileage. I am literally burning the same amount of petroleum as before ethanol. AND as stated more tax per mile traveled.
‘This is simply another government scam perpetrated on the American public.
you didn't really reference this outfit did you? Its based in Florida, consists of 3 people, and has no basis or testing to back up its claims. You need to learn how to spot BS.
Not to mention the video that's posted at the bottom, pretty much shows no mechanical problems. As long as the fuel system is designed for ethanol, only problem is less MPG.
300,000+ miles on my 2003 Suburban running E10, some E15 and a few tanks of E85, no fuel related problems (actually haven't seen a big dip in MPG either).
If there is enough water in your fuel to cause problems, it would still cause problems with non-ethanol. SMFH!
Unlike pure gasoline, ethanol blends can hold small amounts of water in solution which is then run through the engine harmlessly. In pure gasoline small amounts of water can build up in the tank.
A large amount of water contamination in a fuel tank is likely equally bad for E-0 or an ethanol blend. Avoid water contamination by covering small engines or storing them in a shed or garage.
Decrease in price of fuel and about an equal increase in use of fuel.
What did you expect, they might actually do something that's more than a gesture and that they actually care? Like actually reduce the taxes, that's funny.
Actually, they are just trying to allow the sale of E15 in the summer, which was banned by the EPA in 2011. It was tried back in 2019 and was blocked by the courts.
No difference in anything else, just a big to do over nothing anyway. If they wanted to lower prices, they could cut the taxes.

You win! That is the answer right there.
They have no problem forgiving student loans and any number or other **** so why not a tax break for the average Joe?
You ethanol lovers should respond to my AMA link. When ethanol first came out I had to have motorcycle and small engine carburetors rebuilt. Since I started storing my engines with nonethanol, no problems in the Spring.

The war in Ukraine is projected to cause a world wide famine. So our response is to waste a food source to make a less efficient fuel? Yeah, that makes sense
harley says that you can use gasoline containing up to 10% ethanol with no adverse affects. they do give a warning not to use e15. not to mention it is against federal law to use it in a vehicle that is not designed for it.
"we need to change our habits, we're killing the earth" is one of their many battle cry's meanwhile they want to push dirty running fuel during the heaviest travel months, when, as said, they could cut the fuel tax to help. makes total sense lolol
