I have three vests but rarely wear them.
The best (with c/c pockets) is made by Coronado Leather and is American made but I'm sure First Leather also makes a comparable model.

I use a mesh jacket for warm/hot weather and a lightweight leather for cool temps.
If I'm going on a trip I take my First Leather jacket that has a removable liner and zippered vents that really work well in keeping me cool.

The only vest I have is my airbag vest which goes under my riding jackets.

I have 3 riding jackets. A triple vent, FXRG, and Screamin Eagle mesh. Got all of them on major discounts.
