Never in a million years I thought I would "graduate" to that level. Maybe I am just getting old. I want a leather vest. I was riding around the other day and it was chilly in a sweatshirt, but too hot for a jacket. Vest would be perfect that day. I looked around, but there are so many places to get them from. I would like something with high quality vs. something cheaper. I looked at First Manufacturing, but they just seem like they are... well... manufactured. Not sure about their quality. I "think" I want what they call a "club vest"? It's the one with pockets on chest. I would also prefer if it had CC pocket. I like thick leather that will last long time. I will not put any patches on it, because I don't know the rules and don't want to get my *** whopped lol
So, any brand suggestions? Any places I should look at? You guys always have great advise here when it comes to these kind of things.

I have a First Manufacturing Vest and it is a well made one with sturdy leather. What I like is the 2 concealed carry pockets inside, each pocket having a snap closure. The hand warmer pockets are deep too. I will vouch for it's quality and I have had it for years. Maybe give them another look and see if they have a return policy if you don't like it. It's not at all like those flimsy ones you see at bike rallies.

Another that recommends at least looking at Fox creek leathers. made in USA. They have a very good warranty .
There are vest that serve a function. Then there is the bad boy vest you see. you must decide the route you want to go.
Another vote for First Mfg....had mine for 15+ years. I do have my Legion Riders patches on it and it has held up well.
As far as patches, if you do find one that you like, I would not hesitate to put it on your vest. I would be careful tho on what you put on the back side. If you leave that blank, you should be perfectly fine. Small patches of sayings, in Memory of, US flag are all ok and will not get you in trouble. Let us know what you end up with.
