One of my nicest vests I own is a Harley Davidson brand vest. You have to buy them on sale. It's mid weight and very good quality with nothing on it. I just didn't want to admit I bought a HD item with all the bashing that goes on.
Went with FM Lowside. Its the only vest that puts me in the correct size. Everything else is either too big or too small. I am in between sizes which sucks. Plus, this one is shorter so it will not bunch up.
My plan is to see how it fits. If its off, I will make a custom one based on sizing and return this one. I didnt want to go with custom without knowing for sure it would fit because I wouldnt be able to return it.
I made this awesome custom vest with perforated bottom part, different color stitching. But the damn sizing is off! ☹️ Large is too small, XL is too baggy.
This one runs 1/2 smaller, so XL puts me in perfect fit.

I have mentioned this in another thread, but I have had a Howard's Leathers jacket for decades and it is fantastic! I recently bought a vest from them, and it fits well, has nice pockets , and seems to be just as durable as the jacket.
I just bought a Fox Creek vest. Custom made in the USA. Yeah, more expensive than the Chinese ones, but it fits great, feels wonderful, and looks great.
