Ear protection.

Well I can answer this for myself now. I have tested the Moto Pro Ear Peace hearing protection and was not impressed. They are very comfortable, and they fit well. But I find the "filter" covers all frequencies and reduces them all the same. The overall effect as far as hearing protection is similar to a foam ear plug you would squeeze and roll and insert. Everything was quieter. Which is expected. I didnt hear traffic any better or really anyone who was talking to me. they actaully do not protect as well as the foam ear plugs as far as attenuation. But they are more comfortable. If overall ear protection is what you want, these are great. But cost a lot more than other protection that seems as good. The filter did not seem to let more of anything through in my trial. There is a 30 day, no questions asked return policy. Which I will be using. It is a good product, but not what I was expecting. I was led to believe they would do what I wanted (cut wind noise and therefore hear radio better), but they dont. I use a half helmet with no ear protection and I know its not good for me. I hear my stereo very well. At about 80mph, it is not as clear, but I can still hear it all. I found with the moto pro plugs, I could hear it okay as well, but not as clear. This product could be great for some. I am posting this to hopefully help others looking for what I was. I think I will be moving toward a full face. I ride with a friend that says he hears his stock stereo great. So worth a shot.
