Speaking as a former MSF instructor, all that tells me is your instructor wasn't too smart either. You should watch out for all vehicles the same. (her van could be in the body shop and she might be driving a rental car today)

True, but I still see more soccer moms in SUV's. I can't think of anyone that has a minivan (that I know personally at least).
