Okay. What is up with mini vans? I swear all of them are out to get me. If I were a gambling man, I would be very rich by predicting what each one will do. Also, does any manufacturer make one that goes faster than 25 mph? Seriously, watch the mini vans, they are the slowest on the road.
Beware of minivans - their drivers are envious of any sport related vehicle onthe road especially motorcycles. They'll hit you while they aredaydreaming "If only if I had ...."
Granted I don't "enjoy" driving the minivan but when you have kids that need the third row and use car seats in the 2nd going with a minivan (or full size) is the only option. Did not need the full size van and wife wanted fwd.
Not sure how you get low class out of it. Since they are not a "Status" symbol you'll see them utilized more for hauling people than the SUV for one person.
WOW.... I get attacked out of the wood work for making a generalization about people that shop at Wal-Mart within my first week of posting. Look out for the wave of attacks that you are going to get for generalizing on people that drive mini-vans.
BTW my wife and I drive a mini-van because it is the smallest and cheapest vehicle compared to an SUV for hauling kids and other items around. Sorry I can't fit all of my family and luggage for a weekend camping trip into a small car.
What happens when the mini-van owner buys a Harley?? Or, if they sell the mini -van and buy a Corvette are they suddenly "kool"? Worse would be if they KEPT the mini-van and bought a Corvette. Wow, how would you describe them then?

WT! (white trash!) [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
Actually, most of the people out here that tend to drive mini-vans are hispanics (possibly illegals) with about 30 people inside (and I know this will sound racist).....almost everyone else tends to drive SUV's.
And Buddha4, just and FYI, a large number of the SUV's have 3rd row seating now (even the Pathfinders). Unless you are trying to buy an Escalade or Navigator, the pricing is pretty close now too.....

Damn!
I see so many posts about how we hate when other folks generalize about us cuz we ride a Harley (we're not all 1%'s, outlaws, etc). Aren't some of us a bunch of hypocrites?
Minivan operators = low-class scary drivers
or
Hispanics = possibly illegals
How is that not like saying "Italians (possibly mobsters)"?
It's all about perception. I've seen my share of stupid mini-van operators but we can't say there's NOT also a lot of stupid truck drivers, car drivers, and even stupid motorcyclists.
Focus on all types of vehicles around you.
Start concentrating on minivans a little more than the other cages and it'll be a family sedan that comes outta nowhere to take you out.
And regarding those intoracial profiling: shut your mouth and open your mind.
