That helmet is well expired. By the look of the face mask its been dragged, dropped, beaten. In winter full faced with baklava under with a big windshield. You could buy something 10 times better for $100 . We had better foam padded football helmets in that time frame. 🤣
Ok so yous got me talked out of actually using that helmet...I will just clean it up and put it on the shelf as a display...so now I found 2 replacement helmets...and yes they are new....which would you pick because I like them both
the top all day long. That full face with no shield is a pain in the ***. Its like a wind vacuum with no shield and you cant crack the shield for a little air while riding with the shield snapped in place.

Possibly but I think this falls into the category of different people liking different things. I wear a full face with the shield removed as much as possible. I put it back on in the winter, or when I know I'll be riding in the rain, otherwise it's off.

I got the first one around 10 years ago and have been happy with their products.
Below is a pic of my T1:
Damn, I find I close tHe shield down more on super hot days. Sometimes its like a heat gun shooting at my face when I leave the shield open.
When you put it back on in the winter you have the option of cracking or lifting the shield. You dont get that option with the snap on shield.

Yeah funny how much riders can differ in our riding likes or dislikes. I completely agree with you about a full face with a snap on shield. When my shield is on, I like being able to put it up or down or just opened a little bit. With the snap on it's all or nothing.

I find that helmets are like shoes. Some brands fit the shape of my feet (or head) better than other brands. That's why I like Torc, they fit the shape of my head perfectly. A poorly fitting helmet is as uncomfortable as a poorly fitting pair of shoes. Try lots of different ones if you can. Good luck with your search.
