I doubt many would want a "drag bike" in today's market. I'm as big a fanboy of the VRSC as anybody, but the V-Rod had its time and place for 17 years. I shudder to think what production costs of that rear swingarm, hydroformed chassis, and most of all, engine, would run today.

I suspect less than rolling out a " new" model , they have amortized the associated design and tooling costs over 17 years and XXXxx units
