I don't know about your bike but it could be verified with a test light. On a 2015 Dyna the right and left turn signal wires out of the rear harness also cary a brake light signal. I had to buy an adapter from Custom Dynamics to get rid of the brake light signal in those wires to run my (run-brake-turn) led rear lights. If this is true on your bike, the signal wires would give you the constant hot you are looking for. My can bus system would try to correct the problem but it would alway return to the turn signal lighting up when the brake lights came on.

Thank you guys for the ideas. I will be trying some of these ideas hopefully on Friday. I will let everyone know what happens.

On bikes that have a TSM I think it only needs a momentary switch signal to start flashing the bulbs. It then has a timer or self cancels when detecting changes in lean angle of the bike. The TSM has an electronic sense that is in concept push to start and push to stop so you can cancel the flasher by pressing the switch again.

For your application you are looking for an electronic switch that will have a push to make and push to break or some way to control a relay with the same concept.

Just looking for a circuit now...

Tap into the tail light wire either at the taillight, under the fender or under the seat..

On further reflection you need an electronic switch that will turn on with the pulses from the TSM and as long as a voltage pulse turns up at 60 to 120 times per minute the switch will stay on. When the pulses stop the switch will turn off.

ETA: The terminology retriggerable monostable multivibrator, more commonly referred to as a retriggerable one-shot. It can be created with a 555 timer chip and a few passive components.

Yes I have been looking into the retriggerable one shot but I am not too familiar with this kind of electronics. I need to keep learning about it before I will be able to use this option.

So I have been playing around with my blinkers and have found that pushing the blinker control sends power to the turn signal module. The tsm then starts the blinking process. I did find out there is constant 12v while the button is pushed in so I could make this work by splicing into the wires before the tsm and running them to the trigger 1 and two of me led controller. I would have to push and hold the signal button the whole time I need the turn signal to be on then release the button and push it once more to turn the front signal off. This seems like a pain in the butt. I do not know much about building electrical circuits. I have been trying to learn but it seems complicated. Andy from sandy could you or anyone else walk me through building the retriggerable one shot?

There should be a constant powered line somewhere near the battery or under your left hand side cover. How about tapping into the positive battery post? Put a ring connector on the wire and fasten to the positive post. There are several wires under the side cover and one of them should have power when the switch is on. A test light can be your friend to check this out.

The rear indicator that Springer13 has built requires 12 volts to power on. The output from his device then gives a flashing light as a normal turn signal. The 12 volts has to be removed to stop his turn signal from flashing. He needs a switchable 12 volts that coincides with what the TSM is doing.

I know where to find the information and will post once I have it all together. The 555 timer is usually triggered with a negative pulse but you need it to trigger from a positive pulse. It can be done with a transistor. I just need to get all of that straight first.

This - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=55...rable+one+shot
will bring up various youtube and other links for using a 555 timer (but with negative pulse on pin 2 that needs inverting for your use case). It can run on 12 volts so no supply issues there.
