Default 2022 LRST taking a while to start?

Hey all. New to the forums and this bike. Currently it has just over 900 miles on it and it seems to take a bit to start when cold. I am curious if this was normal or ? Showed the dealership where I bought the bike from and they said there wasn't anything they could do since there are no check engine lights or anything. I should also add that once it does start, in this instance it took 5 seconds, it does run fine. But it is longer than when I bought it. Anyways, let me know your thoughts. Appreciate it! Now hope the vid goes through!

Welcome to HDF! In my experience, I would not consider that normal. Is the bike stock?

You need to be more adamant with them that it is, indeed, their problem. Make whatever phone calls need to be made until they take care of it. And then never darken their doors again.

Agree. Makes sense to take a video of it in the morning, (post here as well, we're curious! ) , and if the dealer is not helping, I'd call Harley customer service and send them a link to the video

Thanks all. I have my 1k service scheduled for Sept. 7th, earliest they could fit me in when I called yesterday......, and they say they can take a look then. I just don't want anything to happen to my new baby! lol. Maybe will try a diff dealer since the one that should be most inclined to help doesn't seem to really want to. Will take another video in the morning and post it up for everyone. Thanks for the input and making me feel like it is not all me!

keep it on a trickle charger and see if it behaves better... however you could always check to insure the battery connections are tight

Thanks for the advice. I do not have a trickle charger just yet. It is on the list. I will however check the connections just to make sure. Even though only 2 weeks old you never know! Thanks again!

Are you letting the EFI system become fully primed before hitting the starter button?
