Hard to say from just looking at a single picture.
Lots of things go into it. Location, condition, mileage, originality, maintenance.
Whats the asking price?

Asking is $5500. Location is Dallas. Claimed mileage is 15K. Asking for maintenance on a bike like this always going to be vague and not trustworthy anyways. Condition is Runs and shifts fine, that's all
Difficult to tell much from a picture, but something in the range of $5-6000. Although it doesn't look like it has a front of rear fender, so what else is missing or not working? But that assumes someone wants it bad enough to pay that for it.

Paul
It comes with all original parts. Fenders, fairings...
IMHO, that's way too much!
Not sure if link will work, but here's one that appears to offer more and is about half the price. Not sure where "south" is, but this one is in Florida. http://www.facebook.com/marketplace/...3-7de052bb7521

my .02.
This is not a shovelhead. I dont know much but I know shovels go for more nowadays. Just the engine by itself goes for over $3200 on ebay.

You are correct. I missed the EVO.
I'd still be hard-pressed to part with 5K for a bike in that condition. But, that's okay. One less person you'd have to stand behind in line to buy it. Let us know what you decide and what you do with it.
Is it a matching numbers bike? I seriously doubt that it is. That motor is way to clean to have sat in that frame for 42 yrs. And what's up with that hideous headlight housing that they started to spray paint and stopped?
If the motor is sound and the numbers match and the bike runs down the road that's a decent price. I would offer $4,000 - $4,500 and go from there. Just my opinion.
Lots of new old stock Shovelhead parts on ebay and other places. If you got it I would piece it together with parts like that instead of China bullshit....
Ill hurt some poor souls feeling here, but those FLT shovels are some ugly damn bikes. Instrument cluster looks like it belongs in an Otis elevator.
Bless their hearts.
