As there's now zero snow for snowmobiling and still tons of salt on the roads, I took a road trip. Gotta keep moving somehow....

Picked up a pair of Sena SMH10's on HD helmets for $200 off Facebook Marketplace. Had to drive 1-hour south to go get them. I don't care about the used helmets. I just wanted the two units as I have two now and we're going cross country in early June.

Then, because I'm now in Binghamton, NY, we went further south to Bills Old Bike Barn in Bloomsburg, PA. My 2nd trip there.

Tons of various bikes, mostly HD, plus a boat load of HD memorabilia and collectables. All this along with Bill's personal collection of Americana filling two stories and 55,000-sq feet of buildings. Mostly set in a cobblestone street scape setting.

If you're ever in east-central PA, a 2-3 hour must visit!

I live in south central Pa and I’ve never been to or heard of Bills Bike Barn. Do they sell parts and such or is it more a museum type display?

The museum is behind his business. Which is old bike parts. I walked in there the last time and it's packed with NOS and used parts.

He;s got it all...early HD single stuff, knuckle, pan, evo parts. Indian, Kawi, Honda, ect. It's the mother lode! And he must be good at it to afford his collection-museum.

Looks like a hell of a collection. There’s a place called The Cycle Den in Columbia Pa that has a lot of stuff like that, but not as much as Bills.

Looks like Bills is for sale.

I was at the Cycle Den last year. IMO Bills' makes that place look like a closet of parts!

I talked with Bill yesterday, and well being a blunt Nu Yawker, I asked if he had plans for the survival of his collection after he passes. (Okay, he's in his 80's)

He said "he's working on it". I said "IT JUST HAS TO SURVIVE!"

He's that guy that if you ask for an obscure part, he knows right where it is. Even if he hasn't put his hands on it in 20-years.

How do you know if you are doing an "upgrade "? Most likely you are just changing one part for another. Upgrade is one of the most misused term in the forums.

Less then 4 weeks & I give Mother Nature the middle finger
I start my Veggie seedlings 1st weekend in Feb, usually snow still on the ground

They start in a Garden window w/rope light under the cement board as a heat source
Then they move to my 3 season porch
Then to my Greenhouse that has a mini-greenhouse inside -also heated by rope light if needed
Gotta get an early start in New England

Upgrades are a personal thing...not really that hard to understand.
