How do you get through winter?
Picked up a pair of Sena SMH10's on HD helmets for $200 off Facebook Marketplace. Had to drive 1-hour south to go get them. I don't care about the used helmets. I just wanted the two units as I have two now and we're going cross country in early June.
Then, because I'm now in Binghamton, NY, we went further south to Bills Old Bike Barn in Bloomsburg, PA. My 2nd trip there.
Tons of various bikes, mostly HD, plus a boat load of HD memorabilia and collectables. All this along with Bill's personal collection of Americana filling two stories and 55,000-sq feet of buildings. Mostly set in a cobblestone street scape setting.
If you're ever in east-central PA, a 2-3 hour must visit!
Some pixs from today:
Cut away motors on display.
HD LIGHTER
HD chess set with 1913 model behind it.

The museum is behind his business. Which is old bike parts. I walked in there the last time and it's packed with NOS and used parts.

He;s got it all...early HD single stuff, knuckle, pan, evo parts. Indian, Kawi, Honda, ect. It's the mother lode! And he must be good at it to afford his collection-museum.

I talked with Bill yesterday, and well being a blunt Nu Yawker, I asked if he had plans for the survival of his collection after he passes. (Okay, he's in his 80's)
He said "he's working on it". I said "IT JUST HAS TO SURVIVE!"
He's that guy that if you ask for an obscure part, he knows right where it is. Even if he hasn't put his hands on it in 20-years.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I start my Veggie seedlings 1st weekend in Feb, usually snow still on the ground
They start in a Garden window w/rope light under the cement board as a heat source
Then they move to my 3 season porch
Then to my Greenhouse that has a mini-greenhouse inside -also heated by rope light if needed
Gotta get an early start in New England
