How do you like that thing? I bought one for mine but it's been sitting on the bench since it was delivered.

I added it on top of the Airhawk pad when I was taking longer trips. Keeps me comfortable when hot and cold.
Like a recliner on two wheels. Together they extended the miles for me.
I call it Fe Fe.....

It is a two-fold problem, IMO..

Some people don't see us.
Other people see us. But it doesn't register, in their mind, what they are seeing.

I think Omaha drivers are the absolute worst. Though I will say, I see a lot of Texas plates doing really dumb things behind the wheel.

What about the guys who put the tiny cute lights on bikes, and complain no one sees them.

Most cruisers, mine included could use more lights

There used to be an area Downtown known as "the Canyon" its gone now that they totally rebuilt the Freeways through that area. Now it's worst. Where is "the washing machine"?

Fcked up designs in Dallas.

I'm hugging the dashed line, slowing down wouldn't have helped. I romped the throttle and see her bumper a foot from my saddlebag.
It happened so fast.
.

Yup, been there done that. I'm glad you escaped a sure disaster.
I grew up in Dallas, the traffic used to not be bad at all. That's all changed now. The traffic gets worst year after year. I live north of Dallas now, I used to drive through Dallas to visit my parents, who lived south of Dallas. That is a terrible drive but, I did it to see my parents every other weekend while they were alive.

Now it's a challenge just riding from Plano to Strokers. Again, glad you escaped injury.

On my metrics I used to add lights at the rear.

On my Harleys I add the conversion to make the turn signals also be running/brake lights.
