H-D's website lists multiple benefits for active-duty military, but I don't see anything for veterans or LEO except for a discount at the museum, and even that requires a military ID. I see this requirement a lot for veteran discounts but the problem is, most veterans won't have a military ID unless they retired from the military or they're receiving disability benefits.
On the H-D dealer end however, I've received a 5-10% discount at just about every dealer I've been to just by asking. I don't expect or demand a discount, and I certainly didn't join the military to get discounts, but if that's the way a vendor wants to say "thanks" or show their appreciation, I'll humbly accept.
Here in Commiefornia, we can have our Veteran status listed on our driver's license...
Yes, Veteran, not retired, just Veteran.
It costs $5, and you have to take your DD-214 to the county Veteran's Affairs Office.
They review and approve of your Vet status and they provide a stamp on a form for the DMV, who then adds the designation to your license.
The designation is valid for as long as the bearer wishes for it to remain on their license (one time fee).
I have found that some dealerships do not honor a Veteran discount, but most give 10%.

Oklahoma does the same thing, but not every vendor will accept it as proof.
Usually their reasoning is that it's too easy for anyone to get the designation added. Not sure how they come to that conclusion though because, like your state, you have to show proof when you get your license if you want it added. I don't argue with vendors that won't accept it though because giving or not giving a discount is their prerogative. I really appreciate it when it's offered but I don't see it as an entitlement.
Of the two HD dealers closest to me, one grants a 10% discount for vets, the other does not.
If you buy a bike from them, my Indian dealer tacks on an extra year of the factory warranty for free if you register as a vet on ID.me. Since their extended warranty is only $750 for 4 years, I did that, so with the factory warranty, the extra year from ID.me, and the extended warranty, my Indian is covered until 2030.
