...Can't stand walking!
But my real question is why do guys blip the throttle when they are slowing or stopping? just an honest question... not trying to start nothin... Is there a reason or is to just feel cool?
Here we go,..............................................
ok,....in short,......I blip ,...sometimes I just wanna hear my pipes sometimes just to wake everybody in the neighborhood up, sometimes I don't blip,................just depends,....................sometimes I put it in neutral,.......sometimes I hold the clutch,.....matter of personal preference,....
Now days, no real need to...way back when to keep from fouling the plugs. Left over habit for some, newly learned habit for others...some just like the sound.
...and, for some who are downshifting, to match engine RPMs to lower gear.
That would be me. Oddly my Dad taught me to downshift while slowing on the motorcycle, but yelled at me if I did it in the car: "Brakes are cheaper than clutches!" I'm going to have to ask him about that now that I think about it.

Aha that was what I was wondering... I am glad you guys cleared that one because I would have felt like a tool asking my neighbor why he does it...
Ok resume program... now for the funny/crazy replies
