Default Too Old For Projects

My favorite ride has always been my '55 Panhead. It was always been dependable and easily worked on in its simplicity. All roadside repairs (though few) could be done with the tools and repair parts kept in the stock toolbox and a small tool bag. I built a second bike being a '75 Shovelhead on a rigid frame. Nice part about the Shovelhead was the electric start. With the Panhead it was necessary to get the timing right. the Linkert primed and on a compression stroke or limp around for awhile. Also had to give a good hard kick to get the Joe Hunt magneto to fire. It has been almost 8 months since my knee replacement and it's still not back to normal.

Welcome to the HDFORUM for the third time.

It only a suggestion by me but read near the end above getting responses to your questions in other areas besides welcome area.

Questions would probably get more comments in the proper area using the dropdown menu under Forums in the menu above

It’s possible if a Community Team member sees your post, they may move it to a better area.

But it's faster and better if you use drop down menu yourself.

Thanks. It's a little confusing navigating to the right area. I'm sure it's me and will just take some time getting used to. The advice is appreciated.
