We all know that there's no bike that fits everyone not their riding needs.

I can remember back to riding bikes that had no windshield and no saddlebags but these days I don't (and won't) own a bike (or trike) without a windshield/fairing and saddlebags!
I've my "fair share" of bikes in what will soon be 55 years of riding and I've said (for many years) that IF I could ONLY have ONE BIKE...it would either be a Heritage OR a Road King and more than likely it would now be the Heritage as I find them much more nimble and maneuverable

I've owned TWO Road Kings (both with hard saddlebags), one was a '96 EVO and the other was an '03 T/C-88

I owned TWO Heritages, a '92 and a '95 both with EVO engines,
My wife also owned TWO Heritages (a '99 EVO and an '08 T/C-96).

When my wife stopped riding and decided to sell her '08 Heritage I really struggled with letting it go as it was in perfect condition and was lowered (front and rear) totally chromed and accessorized.
The decision came down to keeping it and selling my ' 98 Heritage Springer or vice versa....but I just could not let go of my Springer.

I have not rode any of the later model Heritages but I hear that they are much improved over the older models BUT personally I still prefer the nostalgic "studded" saddlebags and seat trim and it's easy to find one of these bikes with low mileage for a very reasonable price.

The only bike Harley sells in current production that appeals to me is the Police Road King. You asked, OP, and that's my answer.

No test ride makes it hard to make an informed decision. The Breakout is more stretched out so will not not run the curves as fast or well as the Fatboy. Do they at least have the bikes you can sit on and look at?
