You have got to be kidding me!!! So now we are gonna critique how people start and stop??? [sm=headbang.gif] Geeze will this stupid chit ever end. Maybe there are reasons why people do what they do. Personally I plant both feet when I stop because I have a bad left knee that can give out on me without warning. If someone wants to bust on me about it I'll be glad to put the foot that is below my bad knee right up their azz while balancing myself on my good one.
Don't hold back, if You've got something to say just come on out with it. No use beatin' around the bush!
So my use of the word professional might not have been the right choice. I guess all I'm saying is if you want to look like you know what you're dong (and take a little pride in what you're dong) watch a trained LEO motor officer for awhile and you will see how a professional rider performs.
Of course a new rider is going to have to go thru the learning stages but that doesn't mean that they can't strive to improve their riding skills.
well I almost had to pull a Motor cop over the other day, cause I was behind him at the stop and I saw him put both feet down, he is just lucky I didn't catch him at the next light. Really, I too watch the motor cops for technique and all, I very much look up to their riding skill and such, and when I say those Motorcycle boots hit the ground, I figured I'd try it at the next light, worked just fine, but I'm more comfortable with one foot down.(might be my short legs)
What looks even "cooler" is is when riders come to a stop and put no feet down!
[sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif] funny you say that, I totally helped a friend do just that. We figured out that my legs were long enough to hold up his bike from the biotch seat. Shoulda seen our buddies face at the next light when my friend kept both feet on his pegs, man it was priceless

Leaving Road Atlanta Sunday, I got stuck behind atruck pulling a trailer at a snails pace. There comes a time when you have to break out the "Duck Walk" if you prefer not to be part of the pavement. I'm not very critical in the forum, but this is an asinine thread.
Hey Tony P did you enjoy the AMA races this past weekend. Looks like Maldin is going for it again. The last race at Laguna Seca should be interesting.
Except for fighting a cold all weekend, I enjoyed the races. The Supersport race on Sunday was one of the best I've ever seen. Laguna will be a dogfight for sure! No "Duck Walking" out on the track...
