AND I looked at the itemized bill today. $45 for shop supplies! Are you F**cking kidding me? There are no shop supplies except for maybe a rag to change a voltage regulator. I have done this job myself. No F***ing way!!! H-D can suck it! It's been 10 yrs since I was in a dealership. Now it was my last! If I can't fix it myself with after market, I will junk it! just sayin

That bogus charge was made by the Service Department, wasn't it? Take your bill back to the dealership and ask them about it, instead of just whining about it on an internet forum.

Im on my 3rd battery in six years. Huge disclaimer I let two of them die in the Michigan winter. That said the original Harley battery was good. We use Deka batteries for our for trucks at work. We run around the clock 350 days a year.

As I mentioned in post #11, I finally got around to the Evo, after working on my Shovel. The Evo turned over really slow, and then click,click,click. So I pulled the seat off, and it's time for a battery on this one too. The date I had scratched on it was 04/09/19. Almost 8 years. Guess I can't complain.

if you need a battery then look at ebay. you can get it shipped to your door for 55 bucks. unless you just want to pay more. and yes they are AGM. i have lived in Florida almost all my life, and could NEVER get more than 3 years on battery. the extreme heat will kill a battery. there are some on this site that says they get 10 or more years out of a motorcycle battery... BS
