Factory Build Date...
I have a new 08 Street Glide on order..
I am told by the dealer that the build date was 20th August.
Can anyone tell me what that really means, was it the date they started making the bike, was it the date the bike came off the line, or would it be the date the bike was finished and left the factory?
Is there someone out there that can give me any information as to what it means, just for general interest really.
It is shipping to the UK so wanted to try to figure out when it would be arriving, if nothing else.
Also where do Harley make the SG, which facility?

My bike shipped on the build date and I had it within a couple of days.
I would expect your bike to ship within a day or two of the ship date.
The Street Glide is made in York Pennsylvania.

He did tell me it was shipping, but being in the UK I am trying to guage how much longer I should have to wait.
