J&S left a big hole in the motorcycle jack world when they went out of business. Nothing on the market comes close to their jacks and that’s a fact, Jack!
Never had a problem lowering it Foot pedal release was easy to use, Alway after raising the bike I lower it to the detent to take the pressure off the jack, very stable,
bought mine in 2024, $350, just looked, $425 wow, but still to me its a nice jack

As I've posted in the recent past, I'm surprised that some enterprising person/company doesn't just COPY the J&S Jack design?
I'm pretty sure there's nothing proprietary about their design so you'd think one could be easily copied and given the high demand you'd think it would be a success.
I've owned a J&S for 15 yrs. and find it indispensable for the following reasons:
1. It's minimum height of 4" allows for it to easily slide under my 2015 Ultra Limited "Low" while on it's jiffy stand.
2. It's extremely stable and rolls easily with the full weight of my 2015 Ultra Limited on it. (950+ lbs)
3. Widest footprint for extra stability.
4. Longest and farthest spread "lifting rails" (17" long)
5. Much better safety stop design than all other jacks.
The ONLY (well known) "issue" was the bottle jack made in China that often leaked. But replacements are pretty easy to find and replacement is easy...ask me how I know....LOL.
It's too bad J&S went out of business and screwed a lot of depositors. They made a great product but were lousy, dishonest business people......but the J&S Jack itself wasn't the problem....it was the owners!
An exact copy, could easily sell for $400 to $500 if someone with the skill and business sense wants to start the business.
