I was coming home from Llano Sunday and saw a whole bunch of bikes lead and followed by the local leos around lunch time. Just wondering if anyone knew what was goin on.
I have no idea what was going on but I had to chime in on Salado having a great steak place in Johnny's. 10 oz sirloin for $12 that includes salad and baked potato. The wife and I live in Dallas and stop there every week on our way to Austin to see Texas play their football games.
From what I could tell they were all stopping at a BBQ place on the east side of 35E on the service road. We were coming from the SW corner of Llano county and there were bikes everywhere. Anybody ever hear of Coopers? Damn good place to eat. Thought someone would chime from that area cause I know there are a few here from around there.
I've heard it's really good but haven't ventured there after I found Johnny's. It's getting close to lunch time and all of this talk of good food is making me hungry!!!!!
I would rather eat at Cooper's in Llano than any other BBQ joint in the state.......the place has gotten way too popular and expensive.......all I usually order is the Cabrito because it's hard to find.....don't know about all the bikes in Salado......there was a ride planned from somewhere north of Houston down to San Antonio to benefit the Brooke Army Medical Center for wounded soldiers but I don't remember what the date was...........
Im not sure either,,didnt hear of anything.......I live just outside of salado.....and yes johnny's has good food............................LO...............
