Good people, drivers and professional rigs. But they are slowwwwwwwwwww. It took them 6 weeks to get my bike from Bozeman to NY. Bike sat in Bozeman for 2 weeks then it was 3 hours from my house in PA for 2 weeks. Took my buddy from Boston (they had his bike as well) losing his mind to get both bikes on a truck out to us. They were going to hold on to them for another two weeks.
Since I was home the wait was OK. If I was shipping my bike to a destination that would be a big problem.
Ive used them several times over the last 6 years between Chicago and Tucson for my TriGlide. Theyre very professional. Most recently last month. They estimated one month from pickup to delivery which was fine for me. They were about a week late in their estimated delivery date, which again didnt matter this time. I will use them again.
Agree with most comments here... they did a fine job with my bike but it was really slow, took close to 6 weeks; I shipped from VA to NM and the bike sat for weeks in PA.
Per my experience with them, I would really nail down pick up and drop off dates. Don't let them give you that "estimate" BS. Define estimate, per them plus or minus 2 weeks is an estimate. Explain it needs to happen no more then 3 days from agreed upon dates. They are good but I honestly think they do not have enough staff or trucks and just take the jobs. Seems like they do not want to send a truck out unless it is full. I get it from a business stand point, but when you give a date, I expect you to meet it.
Is it ok to suggest another company in this thread? If not, moderator, just delete.
My bike broke down in Florida in late Feb. Long story, short, a friend suggested uShip. My friend said it's kinda like Ebay for shipping. You give them your bike info, where it is and your destination. Then shippers bid on your job. I ended up accepting one for $700. The guy picked up the bike and dropped it (not literally!) off in my driveway. I didn't have to lift a finger. 900+ miles. It took 2 to 3 weeks, he had a lot of other stuff in the truck so not just your bike. Thought I'd suggest it.
