Did anyone have this put on when you bought your bike from the dealer? It was kind of expensive. Wondering if it was worth it. I never buy this for my cars, but I did for the bike.
Actually, they did not offer that as an option to me, and Iain't heard of it yet from my bros who bought newer, so I think if "expensive" means more than 200 bucks, it was just another "stealer" trick. The only part of my bike's paint that gets hit is the front of the tank, and I could have the local paint pro poly the tank for that much. I just get lil' scratches that buff out, so why bother.
No offense, but before you believe what the dealer sez, go get 3 other opinions from yer local indy shops or the shop owners on here.
They ain't called "stealers" for nothing.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah it was well over $200. They had quite the demonstration at the dealer. Spray painted a gas tank, then buffed it right off after applying this stuff. Supposed to give it that showroom shine forever. We'll see about that. I gotta say though, bugs and crap come right off.
